Baby Landry is on the Way!

WOW! Time is flying. Today we are 12 weeks pregnant! 

A couple of weekends ago, we wrapped up telling immediate friends and family with a trip back to Lake Charles. We had previously told MeMe and Popee (Sarah's Mom and Rick) when they came visit for Mardi Gras. Here are the reactions and a few pictures of the big announcement!

We went to the doctor yesterday, heart beat was there and doctor says it's good. We will go see Megan today for an ultrasound so B can see the baby moving around. 

Last week, we let the news out to all of our friends and family! Everyone is so excited and happy for us and it only makes me want to speed up to October to meet this little bundle of joy. 

A little about my first trimester since it's already almost over! EXHAUSTING. Let me just say it like that. Bud and I took naps on my off days and days that I worked, well I was just happy to make it thru my shift. As far as morning sickness, or all day sickness, I consider myself lucky. I only get/got nauseated on an empty stomach. Easy problem to fix --> eat often!

And, so it begins!

While I am so not a blogger, I thought this would be the best way to journal my thoughts and experiences through these next few months. Having just finished nursing school (WAHOO!), I can put forth effort to make this little blog worth reading. 

As I begin studying for the NCLEX, enjoying my first holidays without nursing school in the way, and contain my excitement for what is to come, I don't want to forget the memories thus far!

I'll leave more about B and I in future blog posts, but for now I just wanted to introduce the blog and start writing.
